

Kim Chansky
Founder, Tandem Oak
​With over 15 years of experience spanning early-stage startups and Fortune 500 companies like Medtronic, Kim specializes in guiding MedTech innovations from concept to patient care.
​
She has successfully developed and launched more than 30 biotech and medical devices, including the XT-8 System for advanced molecular diagnostics, next-generation blood collection devices, and connected insulin infusion pumps designed for patients with Type 1 diabetes.
Kim’s work has earned recognition for excellence in innovative product design, strategic market research, and cross-functional leadership. Her teams have included experts in engineering, science, user experience, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, marketing, sales and technical support.

Before starting Tandem Oak, Kim was a founding member of a medical device startup, responsible for co-directing product development strategy.
​
When not assisting companies, you will find Kim attending theatre and dance performances, taking improv classes, and occasionally jumping out of perfectly good airplanes.

Kim Chansky has a B.S. in Molecular Biology with a minor in Modern Literature and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University. She was also an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the West Coast Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics (CTIP).
